Simply apply generously 15 mins. prior to sun exposure and reapply after 2 hours or after swimming, just the same as your typical sunscreen!
This natural sunblock is made with non-nano Zinc Oxide which provides broad-spectrum protection, stopping both UVA and UVB rays from penetrating your skin. Non-nano is important because it means the particles aren't too small to be absorbed into parts of the body it shouldn't be. And broad-spectrum coverage is the only kind you want from your sunscreen so that it blocks both types of the suns rays, providing you with full protection.
This sunscreen is a physical block which does not contain oxybenzone or octinoxate, harmful ingredients typically found in chemical sunscreens. Those two nasties are also known to harm reefs, but since they were excluded from this formula, this sunscreen is completely reef safe!
